Delta Farce represents Hollywood Evolution...

No really...

From the review in Variety:

"DELTA FARCE is instructive. For one thing, it shows the evolution of Hollywood's relationship to the Iraq War through various movies, from support to critique to outright derision."

Gee... guess I musta slept through phase one.

I find it hard to believe that Larry the Cable Guy made a movie that is "dervisive" towards the military. I think they showed the flick to soldiers for free over the weekend, worldwide.

I agree. Not having seen the movie myself, I can't say for sure one way or the other. But you don't make a movie with middle america's hero and then shit on something that tends to be very important to that audience.

I just find it funny that, according to the reader, there was a period when Hollywood made movies that were supportive of the effort in Iraq. Somehow I missed it.
